26. 1963 Corvette Sting Ray
While there was nothing wrong with the corvette prior to 1963, when this Sting Ray was introduced, it made the predecessor models appear like chopped liver (fast & still somewhat attractive chopped liver). Apart from the new look, the C2 Corvette was a lighter and it handled much better than the predecessors. While there were some nice stylistic redesigns that would be made in coming years, there was something classic about the car.

25. 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am
1979 was the best year for Pontiac Firebird Trans Am sales, with 116,535 units sold. The Trans Am had been in production since 1970 and was in its second generation. The 1979 model had a 6.6-liter V8 200 hp engine.
