20. 1993 – 1995 Mazda RX7
Series 6 of the Mazda RX7 was only sold in the US from 1993 until 1995. There were 3 models offered – the base, the touring, and the R models. In 1993, Playboy test drove the RX7 and comparing it with the Dodge Viper, called it the better of the 2. In 2007, Road & Track called itt “the purest, most exhilarating sports car in the world”.

19. 1958 Lotus Elite
Debuted in 1957 at the London Motor Car Show, the Elite was designed with help from some of Lotus’ “carefully selected racing customers”. The 2-door coupe achieved sports car performance with a 75HP engine and light weight fiberglass. After 5 years in production, there were 1030 units built.
