10. Skipper
This was a toy had a durable confetti patterned cord with a colorful ball attached to one end. Skipper was for girls who enjoyed playing games and liked competition. They were perfect for the active girl who liked to play outdoors. Skipper wraps around the girl’s ankle, who jumps while rotating it. It took a fair amount of coordination and you might remember that hitting yourself with a ball hurt a fair amount!

This ball had partitions inside it that allowed it to jiggle and jangle — the sounds made it even more entertaining. These Skippers were fun to play with friends to see who could skip the longest, but also it was possible to play on your own too! ’90s girls probably remember these replacing the old school jump rope and hopscotch that their parents recall so dearly.
