11. Punishments
Our punishments involved standing in a corner and keeping quiet. When we were really bad, we’d get a pinch or smacked on the bum. I’m from the 1980s, I was scolded and punished when I got out of hand. I knew my parents loved me though, and they wanted me to have values and have manners.

Sometimes when I was rude, I’d get sent to my room and be grounded. Lesson learned and that wasn’t too cool but gotta thank my parents now!
