4. Writing Lines

Not talking about forming lines in class… But when we were late for class, or get caught kicking another kid just because they wouldn’t share their peanut butter jelly sandwich, our teacher would make us stay behind and write lines! As our punishment.

In a way it was punishing our parents too as they would have to wait for us to finish writing our lines as well. But really more for the kid as it was so boring and so tiring to keep writing “I Must Not…” or “I Will Not…” on the blackboard. In chalk. No more breaking rules for the student. Or at least no breaking rules in front of any teachers!
